General

  • QuickFiller is a Chrome extension that lets you save frequently used text as snippets and insert them anywhere you type using a short trigger shortcut. It works on Gmail, WhatsApp Web, LinkedIn, Slack, Google Docs, and 100+ other websites we have tested — saving you hours every week.

  • No. QuickFiller does not automate actions or send messages automatically. Text is inserted only when you manually trigger it using your chosen shortcut.

  • No. QuickFiller does not read, track, or analyze your messages or conversations. It only activates when you deliberately type a snippet shortcut.

  • QuickFiller requires an internet connection to sync your snippets and authenticate your account. Once snippets are loaded in the extension, basic insertion works within the same browser session, but a stable connection is recommended for the best experience.

Installation & Setup

  • Open the Chrome Web Store listing, click Add to Chrome, then confirm the permissions. The QuickFiller icon will appear in your toolbar — click it to sign up or sign in and start creating snippets immediately. No credit card required.

  • QuickFiller is available as a Google Chrome extension. It also works on any Chromium-based browser such as Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Arc. A Firefox extension is on our roadmap.

  • Yes, a free account is required so your snippets stay securely synced across devices and sessions. Signing up takes under 30 seconds — just an email and password, no credit card needed.

  • Chrome updates extensions automatically in the background. To force an immediate update, go to chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and click Update. The current version number is shown on the same page.

Features & Usage

  • Click the QuickFiller icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup, then click New Snippet. Give it a title, write or paste the full text, assign a short trigger keyword (e.g. //intro), and save. It's instantly ready to use anywhere on the web.

  • Just type your shortcut keyword (e.g. //eta) in any text field on any website. QuickFiller detects the shortcut and instantly replaces it with the full saved text — no extra key combo needed.

  • Yes. You can create folders (e.g. Sales Emails, Support Replies, Social Media) to keep your snippets organised. Folders are visible in both the extension popup and the web dashboard.

  • QuickFiller currently supports plain-text snippets with multi-line content. Rich-text (bold, italic, links) insertion is in active development and will be available in a future update.

  • Yes. Pro and Enterprise users can attach files to snippets. When you trigger a snippet in Gmail, QuickFiller automatically attaches the saved file to the compose window alongside the inserted text.

  • Yes. Sign in at quickfiller.app to create, edit, delete, and organise snippets from any browser — even without the Chrome extension installed. All changes sync instantly to your extension.

  • Free plan users can save up to 50 snippets (lifetime). Pro and Enterprise users enjoy unlimited snippets with no cap. Upgrade to Pro →

Compatibility

  • QuickFiller works on virtually any website with a text input field — over 10,000 sites. This includes Gmail, WhatsApp Web, LinkedIn, Slack, Notion, Google Docs, HubSpot, Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, and more. If you can type in it, QuickFiller can fill it.

  • Yes. QuickFiller is fully compatible with WhatsApp Web. Type your shortcut in the message box and your full reply expands instantly — perfect for customer support, sales follow-ups, or everyday chats.

  • Yes. QuickFiller works inside Gmail's compose window. Type a shortcut to insert a full email template in seconds. Pro users can also auto-attach files directly into the compose draft.

  • QuickFiller is a Chrome browser extension designed for desktop and laptop computers. Mobile browser extensions are not currently supported by Chrome on Android or iOS. A dedicated mobile app is on our product roadmap.

  • Yes. Cancel any time from your account dashboard. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the current billing period, then your account reverts to Free — your snippets are never deleted.

  • We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as UPI and net banking for Indian users. Payments are processed securely — QuickFiller never stores your card details.

  • Yes. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your first paid subscription, contact us at support@quickfiller.app and we will process a full refund. See our Refund Policy for full details.

AI Features

  • Yes. QuickFiller includes AI Assist powered by ChatGPT. You can use it to generate, rewrite, or improve snippet content directly inside the extension. Free users get 50 lifetime AI uses; Pro users get 100 per month.

  • AI Assist can write new snippet text from a short prompt, rewrite existing snippets to change tone (formal, casual, concise), fix grammar, translate content, or expand a bullet list into a full email draft — all without leaving the extension.

  • For Pro and Enterprise subscribers, AI usage resets on the first day of each billing cycle. For the Free plan, the 50 AI uses are a lifetime allowance and do not reset.

Team & Sharing

  • Yes. Pro and Enterprise users can share entire snippet folders with team members by email. Shared folders appear in every member's extension automatically, so the whole team always has access to the latest approved replies and templates.

  • The folder owner creates a folder, adds snippets, and shares it with team members by email. Shared members see the folder (read access) in their extension. The owner can update snippets at any time — changes sync to all members instantly.

  • Currently, shared folder members have read-only access. Only the folder owner can add, edit, or delete snippets in a shared folder. Collaborative editing is planned for a future Enterprise update.

Privacy & Security

  • Your snippets are securely stored on QuickFiller's servers and synced to your account over HTTPS. Your snippet content is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

  • No. QuickFiller does not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history, visited URLs, or page content. The extension only activates when you manually type a snippet shortcut in a text field.

  • Yes. Email support@quickfiller.app to request full account and data deletion. All your snippets, folders, and personal information will be permanently deleted within 30 days, per our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

  • Try these steps: (1) Confirm the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions. (2) Reload the tab after installing or updating QuickFiller. (3) Make sure the shortcut you typed matches exactly (including the // prefix). (4) Some high-security sites (bank portals) may block extensions — test on another site. If the problem persists, email support@quickfiller.app.

  • Some websites use custom rich-text editors (Salesforce, some CRMs) that may need special handling. Reload the page and try again. If it still doesn't work, email support@quickfiller.app with the website URL — we'll investigate adding explicit support in the next update.

  • Your snippets are tied to your account and sync from the server on sign in. If they appear missing: (1) Refresh the extension popup. (2) Sign out and sign back in. (3) Check your internet connection. If the problem continues, contact us — we keep server-side backups and can restore your data.

  • Email support@quickfiller.app with a description of the issue, your browser version, and a screenshot if possible. Pro and Enterprise users receive priority responses within 24 hours. Free users are supported via community channels.
