Quick replies are the difference between answering twelve WhatsApp conversations an hour and answering forty. Below are 50 templates grouped by where the customer is in their journey, so you can lift the ones you need instead of reading the whole list.

Every template uses [square brackets] for the bits you swap out. Replace them once, save the reply, and you never type it again.

How to use these

Three rules make saved replies work rather than feel canned:

  • Keep one variable per template. A reply with six blanks takes longer to fill than typing it fresh.
  • Match your own voice. Read each one aloud. If you would never say it, rewrite it before saving.
  • Name shortcuts by intent, not by number. /shipdelay beats /reply14 every time.

Where the built-in feature runs out

If you are using the WhatsApp Business app, note that quick replies are capped at 50, with a 25-character limit on the shortcut itself. Fifty covers a solo seller comfortably. It stops working once you sell multiple product lines or run a team, because the categories above alone will fill the quota.

We wrote up the exact limits and the practical workarounds in WhatsApp Business quick replies: the 50-reply limit.

The other route is a browser-based snippet tool that is not bound by the app's quota. QuickFiller works directly inside WhatsApp Web, so you type a shortcut and pick the reply — with no cap on how many you save. You can see the plans here, including a free tier.

A note on tone

The fastest way to make saved replies sound robotic is to send them unedited to every person. The templates above are deliberately short so there is room to add one specific detail — the customer's name, the thing they actually asked about, a reference to the last conversation. That one edit is what keeps a template feeling like a message.
